My row companions were an elderly Chinese couple, very nice, but it was a little uncomfortable when I needed to get out of my seat since they did not feel the need to get up instead they just pulled in their legs…well what can I say if you want my big butt in your face then so be it LMAO!! It was a very long flight sleep did not happen at all! Of course I had forgotten to check to make sure I had batteries or my Bose headset…I will admit that sucked a bit! Used the airline headset which needless to say was not noise canceling LOL. I did manage to watch some movies! Food was good for being airplane food!

Arrived in China and set out on a search for batteries…a 7 hour wait without being able to watch my movies could have been a little uncomfortable 🙂 Luckily I found a store with electronic toys and a very nice young man who went and looked behind his counter for some batteries 🙂

I did manage to get an hour of sleep at the airport, sitting up in a chair with my feet up on my back pack LOL, not the most comfortable position but when you are tired you are tired! As I was sitting there I kept hearing about all the delayed flights, since the weather was really bad, rainy and windy! Luckily my flight was only 16 min delayed 🙂

Arrived at Phuket airport without any mishaps! Got inline for immigrations and it was horrible, it took 30 min for the line to move 1 m, and I still had about 6 m to go! Then I saw some people that were able to get into a shorter line…yeah I did the same thing they did and managed to get through sooo much quicker 🙂 got my bag which was already there, outside my driver was waiting for me so after 10 min I was on my way to the Hotel! Everyone was super friendly I got checked in quickly and was in my room by 3 am local time, at this time I had been awake for about 34 hours and one would think I would be tired…not so much LOL so I started unpacking my bags, took a shower, sat on the balcony enjoying the warm weather and just generally relaxed 🙂 Finally got to bed around 5 am 🙂

Day 2533 in Thailand

Someone knocked on my door in the morning around 11, it was my mom 🙂 they had all arrived safely! She was on the same flight as my little sister and her family, and my nephew and his family. Got dressed and went down to the pool to meet up with everyone 🙂 I had been a little worried last night that I made a lot of noise…turns out my neighbors were my little sisters friends…and they hadn’t heard anything!

Had some lunch at the hotel restaurant, good food 🙂 lounged around the pool for awhile then back to the room since we were walking over to the grocery store to get some essentials…had to get a Touk Touk back due to all the water we got 🙂 Back at the hotel took the second shower of the day to get ready for dinner. Went to a place down the beach, had some pineapple fried rice served in half a pineapple…yummy!

Went to see the show at the hotel…yeah it’s Sunwing so there is the obligatory show LOL everyone went back to their rooms except for Henrik and I, we went for some Jack in the bar! His wife Frida came back down to get us since the Aussies had arrived! Sat chatting with them until the wee hours in the morning 🙂

Day 2534 in Thailand

Up in the morning met my mom and Gunnar for breakfast, lounged around the pool most of the day. Went to the gym with Lina and Frida, got in a 25 min walk then a lot of people started arriving in the very small gym! That meant it was time for me to go 🙂

Walked down the beach for dinner, there were 24 of us 🙂 Big family!! Love it! Very international, Sweden, US, Australia, and Singapore! The staff at the restaurant scrambled to get a big table together for us 🙂 Had some Panang chicken curry, it was ok…the chicken was not as trimmed as I would have liked it 🙂

Back at the hotel most everyone was tired so the evening ended early 🙂

Day 2535 in Thailand

Bad wake up real early, cough and sore throat! The day has been spent in the room with Tea and movies!

Hoping I will feel better tomorrow!

LOTSA LOVE!!!

Day 2532 in China and Thailand Flying across time zones from JFK to Guangzhou, China!
