Day 37-39 in NY
Posted by Camilla on May 25th, 2009 filed in NY UpdatesDay 37 Woke up early wanted to make sure my books were organized before I leave on vacation…ended up with piles of books all over the floor just a tiny bit overwhelming. Decided to do alphabetically by author…many hours later all my books are in the bookshelves just the way that I like it 😀 Since I realized that I have way too many books I decided that anything I hadn’t reread for the last 4 years I was going to give away so I ended up with 3 boxes that I am going to donate when I get back from vacation. That still left me with about 1200 paperbacks plus my International books 😀 Cleaned the apartment since I had been asked to send pictures so I figured it better look nice LOL, so here’s the apart:

Finished up a productive day with some Zelda then off to bed!
Day 38 woke up figured I needed to start prepping for Sweden started putting out all chargers and outlet converters since I didn’t want to forget them like last time…which my mom was kind enough to point out when I spoke to her later in the day LOL Downloaded Sweden maps. Went to the store to get me a nice piece of Tournedos, some french bread, and some bearnaice sauce was planning to have a nice dinner later in the day. Went over my list of what to bring to Sweden and went to get my Passport…this was a little before 5…spent 3 panicfilled hours looking for my passport. Went through all my paperwork started despairing since I couldn’t find it, started thinking about how I could get a new passport, went through every shelf in the whole apartment. Started thinking about what I could have been thinking when I put it away…well with my logic I probably would have put it in one of my bags/suitcases that I would travel with…brought out my suitcases, my laptop bag Nothing!!! 3 hours into my search I realize my OLD travel bag! And YES there it was! Panic attack averted! Phew! So by this time it was too late to prep a fancy dinner so I had some fries LOL Went to bed Exhausted!
Day 39 holiday here so started out with a slow wakeup…NOT…my phone alarm went off at 7 am since it is set to do that on wekdays and does not know on it’s own when it’s a Holiday LOL. Watched some TV picked up a bit from my Passport search from the day before LOL. Went to brunch with Miss X we ended going to Smith’s in Greenwich Village…I had the Pomegranate Daquiri Highly recommended Miss X had the Belini not recommended at all! Ate some yummylicious waffles with strawberries and whipped cream 😀 Tummy Happy! Back home watched a movie and promptly fell asleep on the couch LOL woke up cleaned up in the kitchen checked out some FB action, booked a hotel in Stockholm for the pre-wedding party. Cooked my Tournedos, some fries and prepared some Bearnaice sauce Ohh my tummy was happy today! Fat Cat called chatted for a while and now it is time to head to bed!
Stay safe everyone and Lots of Love from me!

Duktigtmed böckerna. Eftersom jag har gjort av med alla böcker jag ägde då för tillfället i två olika omgångar (fråga inte varför!) så har jag inte så många just nu. Fast några hundra blir det, stående i olika staplar i bokhyllan just framför mig. Skall göra i ordning dem, nånstans nångång…
Välkommen hem till Sverige systerdottra min! 🙂
