Day 1127-1128 in Sweden

Day 1127 Up early ready for a fun-filled day with the family, we were going to Lida for some BBQ and mini-golf. Went with Mom to pick up Tim then off we went. Sanna and Thomas picked up Michelle and Adam, who were getting on a plane later in the afternoon for additional Europe travel. Lina, Jake, and the girls were there when we arrived. Then Chris, Sharon, and Ben arrived with Gunnar on bi-cycles. We played a game of “Kubb” http://www.kubb.co.uk/ and NO we did not wear Viking helmets LMAO!!!  Now to the continued story of the underwear! Ben came up to let me know that the new ones I had gotten for Chris did not fit either 😀 So Ben will be going home with a whole bunch of new underwear courtesy of the Swedish family not sure what his girlfriend will think of us Swedes LMAO!!! Once everyone was gathered it was time to grill the Hot Dogs! My Sister Lina was teaching Ella the art of Hot Dog grilling over open fire!

My Brother In-Laws

Uncle Ben decided to whet his appetite with some tree-climbing…the girsl of course wanted up with him…Now Nova did not stay long but Ella was happy as a little Monkey 😀

Then it was time to Eat…I managed to get my three favorite girls in one spot.

After food we went down to the Pier. Cloe decided it was a good time to show her jumping skills.

Ella walked off on her own and was not happy when told to stand still…

She was easily distracted with a game of “let’s throw sticks and see them float under the pier…”

It was a little windy and hair was flying…

The Swede led the Aussies off the Pier…in a row…

After the walk it was time for a game of Mini-Golf…the holes were set up as mini fake real golf with sand pits and water traps…hmm yeah the water traps…just like in the Tiger Woods Video games…my ball ended up in the water LOL

So one penalty stroke for me…not the last one either LOL

Then it was time for the last participant at the last hole…

After that awesome finish of the Golf game it was time to start heading out. Thomas drove Michelle and Adam to the train, they were off for more adventures. Gunnar, Chris, Sharon, and Ben took off on the bi-cycles. Lina and Jake got dressed for a run back home, I took the girls and Sanna and drove their car to their house, Tim got a ride with mom…everyone safely loaded and off we went. When we got to Lina’s house the sun was out…Tim needed a break after a full day with the family…

Later that evening I went with Sanna, Thomas, Tim, Chris, Jake, and Ben to see Prometheus…hmmm ok…so the dialogue was really bad…the plot was well how should I put it…convoluted?? many questions not answered and a lot of open endings for followup movies 😉 But then again…the special effects were awesome…the scenery great…so yeah I’ll probably buy it on BlueRay to add to my collection LOL I do have to say thank you to Ben for holding things in until we left the theater…ROTFL!!!! One funny thing that happened…so there is a scene where an Actress becomes instantly pregnant with a little alien baby and then steps into a machine that performs an emergency C-section and out comes a…hmmm Squid?? well we had a Pregnant lady sitting right next to us…not sure she appreciated that scene LOL Went back to Lina’s then walked home to mom’s to do some work before passing out.

Day 1128 Up early my sister Sanna was coming over we were going into the city to walk around and have lunch before picking my mom up. My mom was having knee surgery in the morning. Sanna came over to Mom’s then we drove into the city, walked over to Sergels Torg and there was a food fair going on…a little funny one of the first tents we walked was The Australian Barbecue Co. 🙂

They were promoting Kangoroo Burgers…

Now we ended up having Mexicain for lunch instead 🙂

Went to pick up mom, surgery had gone well. Dropped her off at home then went over to Ella and Cloe’s graduation. Farfar Chris and Ella.

Back home to mom’s then went over to Lina’s for the evening, ended up at the neighbors guesthouse with Chris, Ben, and Tim telling really bad jokes and drinking Mai Tai and beer. Walked part of the way home with Tim, he was so sweet asked if I felt safe walking the rest of the way home on my own…I almost burst out laughing…this is Tullinge, not Harlem…but I just said Yeahh I’m fine 😀 Got home to mom’s worked a little bit then it was time to head to bed…Tourist day planned tomorrow.

Have to take a break…more updates to come 😀
