Day 1135-1136 in Sweden

Day 1135 Sanna came to pick me up in the am then we went into the city to have lunch with our Dad…we were early so strolled around in the city for a bit before making our way to Gondolen…walked around to building to try to find the entrance and was just ready to call Dad when he showed up, then our other little Sister Therese came too that was fun! The elevator ride up was…hmm interesting…apparently Therese does not like small elevators LOL The food was good and our waitress was…yeah Rude…ahh well the company was good so who cares 🙂 Dad told us about the Stomatol (toothpaste) sign being the first lit up sign and is now considered an historic mark and they are not allowed to remove it. I read some more and it was actually the first animated advertisement sign in Sweden the sign is made from light bulbs not neon tubes. It’s been a prominent landmark at Slussen Stockholm since 1909 😀

After lunch Sanna and I went over to Kungsträdgården, had a beer and listened to some music…

After the beer we walked over to Mattias and Julina’s, met up with Mom, Gunnar, Nova, and Johan. They had a gorgeous apartment, perfect layout. They had a nice spread laid out 🙂

Homemade meat pies…yummylicious! We had the Sibling table out on the balcony, Sanna, me, Mattias, and Lina…we don’t get to do that too often 🙂 After food the kids were tearing it up in Johan’s room…

On our way home passed by Willie’s to get stuff for me to cook lunch for everyone tomorrow, I’m glad Ben was with us since he remembered my ingredients better than me…LOL Yeah I know I am getting old! Sanna and Thomas dropped us off at Lina’s I put all the stuff away then walked home to mom’s, worked a little bit then off to bed.

Day 1136 Up in the morning prepared to go to Nova’s graduation, once we got up there saw this young woman…ok so this is a summer graduation…granted I am not the one to wear pastel or flowers…but this girl was wearing Short Short shorts, metal studded high heels, and a top that would fit a 12-year old…she would have fit right in at a night club, but at a kids school graduation…not so much LOL Nova was soo pretty up on the stage 🙂

Climbing trees like Uncle Bennie does…in my nice dress and my pretty shoes…that sounds like a Great idea!!

Ohh Fine I guess I will just pose for you while you take pictures!

Cloe and Ella found  flower patch…my mom mentioned the dog’s use the area to poop in…well luckily no turd accidents LOL

Then it was time for “Fika” Ella found her perch…yep that’s what Uncles are for 🙂

After the festivities we went back to Lina’s I prepared lunch, Avocado and Shrimp sallad and Farfalle in a Cream/Chili sauce with Paprika rubbed chicken on the side, it was not bad…most everyone took seconds…or like Ben said “I took a small portion so that I could make Camilla feel good by going for seconds”…hmm Thanks?? Well considering that most all the food was gone I would say people liked it…yeah I can cook…it just doesn’t happen too often LOL Lina headed off for Jukola…will see her again in August. Hung out with the Aussies and played some Tiger Woods…got my ass handed to me LMAO!!! Fun times…walked back to mom’s. Messed around with pictures and then worked for a bit before heading to bed.

Now it’s time to take a break, have to work tomorrow 🙂
