Day 2555-2556 in NYC

Day 2555

I did wake up again at 4 am but today I managed to turn around and go back to sleep until 5:30…WoooHooo Progress! Did my little morning ritual making Tea in the Kitchen, vanilla-caramel Yummylicious, while dancing around to some K-Pop…on the iPad this morning was “Rush” with MonstaX! Of course we also had the Obligatory Big Bang with Fantastic Baby nice little wake-up!

While drinking my morning tea I was sitting seriously contemplating life…LMAO yeah I don’t think so in the morning my thoughts go from…ohh cute boy to ohhh my bed looks so nice and warm…this morning I did sit and think about friends of mine who have been telling me I should write a book about my life…usually I just laugh and say yeah I don’t kiss and tell hehehehe…but lately I have been thinking about it…maybe not share everything but it could be fun to write about my travels and the stupidly fun things I have done in my life…so maybe I’ll start sharing some stories from the past in future posts…maybe…once I have taken care of my ToDo list LOL Now don’t expect any literary marvels I leave that to serious authors, but who knows maybe I’ll make a person or two laugh 😀

So today I got a spam comment from Donald Trump Anti Christ…yes seriously that was the name that came up in the From field. So it seems the spammers now know I am back in the US…the asian spam has slowed down to about 2 a day and Trump Anti Christ is now taking the spot as the top comments spammer!

After work went with the girls to meet up with Amy for Happy Hour at White Oak Tavern Cute place, nice staff, a little slow to get the drinks but all in all a nice place. Went over to Central Bar after and joined up with the larger AOL crew. Julie, Christoph, and Ralph joined after their dinner was done and we headed to Sing Sing, yes I did Karaoke LMAO there was some Metallica, Abba (of course), and Ace of Base! And tons of laughter LOL Came home wayyy to late and after a few too many Jack’s!

Day 2556

Had a rough wakeup this morning I was severely dehydrated LOL I think I need to leave Jack alone on work nights!! Getting to work today was hard LOL

We had a restaurant, Inday, that brought in food today for a Tasting event…food was great, spicy but not too hot, but what is really amazing is I ate Tofu!!! it was Charcoal smoked in tomato Chutney…and I liked it!!! Who knew that I would be eating Tofu LOL

We had Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead in the building today, he was there to promote his new movie Sky, together with Diane Kruger, who also plays Sonya Cross in The Bridge (the US version of “Bron“). He did an interview in one of the Exec Huddles and when he was leaving I said a couple of words and got some wonderful eye contact and a smile…then I needed to go smoke a cigarette LMAO all I can say is he doesn’t have bedroom eyes, he has bedroom/kitchen/floor/against the wall/wherever you want it eyes ROTFL yeah enough about that now!

When I got home in the evening my new toy had arrived…yay so excited!! I had been thinking about buying a new camera for awhile, my Nikon D90 is just to big to travel with, so I have opted to leave it at home when I have been traveling lately. I was looking at smaller lighter cameras and I found the Nikon D5500 but what made me click the purchase button was….the color LMAO yep I love my electronics but if they come in Red I go a little crazy hehehe

I am also going to see about getting a smaller lens for regular pics which will make it even easier to bring when I travel 😀

On that note it is time to wrap up my day!
