Day 2558 in NYC

I do so love the weekend wake ups…yeah no alarm clocks no hurry to get anywhere! Had a nice breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast 😀 Caught up on some FB and watched the latest episode of “The 100” I was a little disappointed with the last episode since one of the characters I liked SPOILER ALERT, Lincoln played by Ricky Whittle, was killed off …sniff sniff…ahh well I guess someone has to die for a series to be interesting to all 😀 I liked this episode though 😀

Then my internet went down…hmm yeah turned out it was for the whole neighborhood! Well luckily I have a phone with good coverage so at least I was able to listen to music 😀 Started cleaning out the first closet…done with half of it and there are now 2 bags of trash with old medications, body lotions I will never use and various miscellaneous hair products, and one bag of clothes! We’ll see how much I manage to get rid of tomorrow 😀

Got ready to go to early dinner with a friend of mine, she had ran a 5K this morning…I admire her immensely! We went to “Cafe Himalaya“, very good food! Awesome catching up! Went to a store across the street for some Lox (Grav Lax)  yeah that was Not for me LOL, then we went on an ice cream hunt…yeah there were lines on both the stores we went to so we ended up at this little hole in the wall down the street…and I ended up with Beignets instead…and they were covered in powdered sugar, which promptly ended up all on my clothes LOL We sat down in the park up the street from me to eat them…but after awhile the rats running around really freaked me out so we headed over to my house for a bit 🙂

After my friend went home I called Time Warner and yes the internet was still down! Ahh well one of those things 😀 I guess that means it will be an early night for me LOL yes I am a little bit dependent on internet connection 😀
