Day 2560 in NYC

Weather was Gorgeous this morning! Sun was shining…absolutely beautiful! When I arrived at work I realized I had left my phone on the table next to the door in my apt!! Not good, I do rely on my alarms to make sure I get my boss to his meetings on time 😀 Boss went into a longer meeting so I ended up walking back home to get my phone…so nice and warm outside!!

On my walk home from work I decided that today was a good day for an ice cream considering it was 6 pm and 27C (80F) outside! Headed over to Big Gay Icecream, first time I have had soft serve ice cream in I don’t even know how many years! I worked at a place selling soft serve when I was 17-18 and ever since then it has not been a big favorite of mine…and to be honest it still isn’t LOL It wasn’t bad it was just not as yummy as I had imagined it to be! It doesn’t matter though the weather was wonderful, cloudy but warm!

So my internet just keeps going down, I am not sure what they are doing but it is extremely annoying when it goes off right in the middle of me doing something! I had just started watching the new season of Daredevil and about 15 min in I get the annoying message…Your device may not be connected to the internet…called Time Warner and yep it is down again!! Ahh well Luckily I have my iPhone and can start the hotspot!

A friend that I hadn’t spoken to in almost 3 years reached out today, let him know I had been in Thailand, well turns out he has a beach house somewhere, not sure where, and a house in Bangkok, I knew he was married to someone from Thailand but I didn’t know he had houses over there 🙂 I met him when I lived in France, he was a chef on the boats (private owned yachts) seems he has gone back to doing that. Last time we spoke he had a restaurant in England. Good catching up, hopefully it won’t take 3 year again until next time we chat 😀 Chatting with him made me want to go back to Thailand even more…I am not sure I can wait until February LOL ahh well I do have another 10 days of vacation I need to use before the end of the year 😀

Finished up the evening with some gaming and some music…yeah a lot of music when the internet is down LOL not much else to do!

Now it is time to wrap up my day work day tomorrow!
