Day 2586-2587 in NYC

Day 2586

Lazy wake up around Noon! Breakfast while watching “The Originals“. Got a phone call in the morning that my glasses were ready for pickup. Figured since I was going to a B-Day Happy Hour later in the afternoon I would go pick them up at the same time. I calculated the times out with some extra time for the pickup.

Walked over to 2nd Ave and it turned out they had a Market Day again!

Arrived at the eye glass store and it turned out my calculations did not work out LOL when I arrived at the store there was a line, had to wait for about 10 min. Then it turned out only one pair arrived…the ones where we were re-using my old light frame Ray-Ban’s were not there, so they had to research where they were…another 10 min then luckily they found them LOL I would have been a Very unhappy customer if they hadn’t!! Apparently they won’t arrive until early next week. All good as long as I have one pair that is fine 😀

Headed off to Happy Hour for Jackie at “Boulton and Watt” awesome time! Lots of good conversation…I know there were pictures taken not sure who has them LOL Back home for a bite to eat and then I realized that trying to update the blog while intoxicated is probably not a good idea…especially  when I misspelled every word I wrote so I gave up LMAO instead I wrapped up my day and put my head down…old folks warning…at 9 pm LMAO!!!!

Day 2587 in NYC

Well after almost 10 hours of sleep got up around 7 am 🙂 Had a message on FB from Fausto with a link to the movie he made when Cat was in town in 2011 and we all went to “Black & White” fun times and good conversation! Please note this Video does have mature language LOL “5IVE minutes“! Had a good laugh looking at this one!!

One of these things that often happen to me after a good nights sleep is I get all these thoughts in my head on what should do during the day…this morning when I got up. super well rested, the sun was shining and in my head I was all like “Ohh Camilla, the sun is shining Today is a Perfect day for a nice walk” (ok seriously I do not talk to myself in third person but I figured I would add some flavor to my story LOL).My plan was that I would have some breakfast and then head out for a walk around Noon…had my lovely weekend breakfast “Eggs and Bacon” yummylicious, caught up on some “Agent Carter” while browsing FB and Instagram. Then I see the room get darker and darker as the clouds move in…yeah it was just not sunny anymore it was more impending rain storm type of weather…I guess if you snooze you loose!!! No walk for me!!!

Had some Korean Ramen for lunch while watching a Korean movie “The Beast” some nice fight scenes in there!! Paid some bills and then continued the “purge of the closets” I am getting dangerously close to my books and movies now…not sure if I can procrastinate enough to Not do it before I leave for Sweden…well at least I can try LOL!  Found this little treasure that Monica and the girls had made for me 😀

Took a break and started playing mindless games…and got stuck!! I have now deleted all the game apps from the iPad!! LOL yeah it was getting ridiculous! So now they are all gone 😀 Now it is time to wrap up my day and prep for tomorrow…gotta be ready for work 😀
