Day 8 in NY

Today was “Take your Kid to Work” day at AOL, past years when I have been at the Dulles campus you didn’t really see the kids since the campus was large and most events took place in the Auditorium downstairs. In the NY office they had activities all over the floor where I was, it was hectic but they all looked as if they were having a good time 🙂

Went to get lunch from the local pizzeria around the corner from work, Calzone with Ham and Cheese…sounds good right…yeahh No! They had thick slabs of ham and about a tub of ricotta cheese in there so no more Calzone for me!

Came home and hooked up my Xbox and tried to get multiple connections working via a workgroup switch, that didn’t work turns out that I can only get 1 IP address at a time from the cable internet connection…ahh well…purchased a new wireless router from Linksys that will hopefully solve that problem, we will see when it gets here 🙂

Had a light snack today since I had that Not so awesome Calzone for lunch…toast with “Mousse de Canard” and “Cornichons”, now That was Yummylicious 😀 Getting ready to go to bed well satisified!
