Day 387-412 in NY

I know, I know…it’s been another one of those really Looong periods of no updates…I know how much you hate that LOL…what can I say it’s been busy! So let me start another one of those marathon updates 😀

Day 387 Productive day at work…transferred to the design department with Sun Sachs and John Kilpatrick…very exciting! purchased the ferry tickets for the Midsummer trip to Gotland…even more exciting 😀 Ran into two coworkers from NoVA and made plans for Happy Hour on Wednesday. Home after work, headed over to Definitions for some Cardio! back home then passed out in bed 🙂

Day 388 Work was good…planning the physical move to the other side of the floor 😀 Home in the pm, my PS3 was not doing what I wanted it to do…managed to get it to work without resorting to violence…all I can say is Thank you Google LOL. Headed over to Definitions for session 83…back home for some Granny Smith Apple with Peanut butter before putting my head down on my pillow!

Day 389 busy at work but ready to head out for Happy Hour at 5 pm sharp! Met up with Julio and walked over to Central Bar we ended up with a nice bunch of people including Sarah W 😀 After drinks headed over to Grand Sichuan at St Mark’s Place. Good food, excellent quality on the ingredients, and most important mark of a good asian restaurant…filled up with asian clients 😀 Home for a good nights sleep!

Day 390 Off to work I go! Busy day at work headed over to  Definitions for some Cardio then home for some sleep.

Day 391 I have to say I LOVE poppyseed Bagel with Cream Cheese…the little corner shop in our building have one of the best ones I have tasted. Double Toasted, light on the Cream Cheese…they have my order down and I don’t need to ask for anything when I get there…what me predictable! LMAO! Good day at work then home to change for Session 84…became Mayor of Definitions on foursquare.com…workout much?? LOL…or should I say nerd much 😀 Home for some FFXIII…in bed early…in the am that is 😀

Day 392 Spent the day playing FFXIII a couple of short breaks for some phone calls 😀 Bedtime early…in the am again 😀 me hooked on video games…Noooo 😀

Day 393 Planning some stuff for the Sweden trip over midsummer, another 5 weeks and I am back in Sweden! It’s been a long time since I celebrated midsummer in Sweden 🙂 Dinner from Brick Lane Curry House…spicy and hot! Laundry and cleaning taken care of then off to bed!

Day 394 BBQ confirmed at Tobbe and Annickas on 7/8…wooohooo! Off to work and start packing up my office…moving over to sit with the Design team on the other side of the floor…exciting times! Home late from work time to look at some “Criminal Minds” then off to bed.

Day 395 Off to work, lots to do, preparing the move and the day of Monster Help. Most everyone in the company are participating in a volunteer day, me I am heading up to a playground above Harlem and I will be taking the Subway for the first time since I moved to NY 😀 Home in the PM for some swedish movies, I am currently checking out the “Johan Falk” movies, yeah gunfights, explosions, and strong silent men with a mean right hook…just the way I like them…the movies that is 😀 Have to get some more movies when I go back to Sweden in June.

Day 396 Good day at work finished up the last of the packing, they will be moving us tomorrow when we are at the volunteer event, so everything had to be packed and ready before I left work 🙂 Home from work and headed straight to Definitions for Session 85…was training with Alan…that is Always nice even though he worked my ass off 😀 Back home for muscle repair peanut butter on Granny Smith Apple  🙂

Day 397 Up early in the morning, dressed for Monster Help I headed down 14th St to catch the A at the 8th Ave station. Long ride all the way up to Fort Tryon Park, we spent the day at the Anne Loftus Playground, weeding, painting, and doing other various clean up jobs 😉 Back home in the afternoon passed by the store for some “Mousse de Foie de Canard au Porto” with a baguette and of course “les Cornichons de Maille”. Made the mistake of having it all out while I was checking out Johan Falk movie and catching up on e-mails…realize all of a sudden that I had finished the terrine with pate…opps that was 3.5 portions….but you know what…it was fingerlicking good 😀

Day 398 First day in my new spot 🙂 Spent most of the day settling in and unpacking. After work headed over to Definitions for Session 86. Home in the evening for some more Johan Falk movies. Had been a long week so got in bed at a reasonable time 🙂

Day 399 Headed over to the Brooklyn Gardens…gorgeus! Beautiful weather and beautiful flowers 😀 Walked by the Brooklyn Museum before heading home…once I got home I passed out in the couch and my feet were Killing Me! LOL Spent the evening playing FFXIII.

Day 400 Sunday so of course the day was spent doing laundry and cleaning house 😀 Bed early in preparation for AOL 25 years celebration tomorrow!

Day 401 Congratulations AOL 25 years! Had a good day at work and then headed over to Central Bar for the celebrations, we had the place to ourselves from 5-8…you can get a lot of Malibu Bay Breezes in that time LOL Cute Irish barman by the name of Thomas played Clash for me…several songs…very nice of him! When the bar opened for the public most AOLers left to go do Karaoke…me not so much LOL I staid at the bar for a couple of more drinks then made my way home for some sleep 😀

Day 402 Woke up slightly dehydrated LOL Had a good day at work and then off to Definitions for Session 87. Then home for some sleep!

Day 403 When I woke up I realized that starting the week with a Late nite out is probably not the best way to start a week…but it was FUN! Was sitting at work hadn’t had lunch yet and this delectable aroma was coming from the kitchen…mmmm made me want something spicy and crunchy…ended up with a sandwich from Lenny’s LOL. Home late watched some of my recorded series on TV then it was time for bed!

Day 404 Off to work in the am busy day! After work headed over to Definitions for Session 88. Back home for some TV before heading to bed.

Day 405 Off to work in the am didn’t get out until around 7pm, even though it was Friday 😀 I love being busy 😀 Home in the evening time for some FFXIII before heading to bed!

Day 406 Saturday…supposed to be the day to sleep in but of course I woke up early, ahh well that’s ok, I got to play some FFXIII before heading off to Definitions for Session 89…and I unlocked the Gym Rat badge on foursquare.com 😀 Back home for some muscle repair food then over to Food Emporium…had no food in the fridge 😀 Spent the evening playing FFXIII.

Day 407 Slept in…soo nice! had some work that I had to take care of but ended up planning some stuff for Sweden first 😀 As I am sitting there working at some point I am realizing that there is absolutely no air coming in through my open windows…I had to give up and turn the AC on! Made some oven baked Salmon with french fries and asian chili sauce…yummylicious! Had dinner while watching Gamer…Loved loved loved…yeah I know it is a movie for adolescent boys but I have to say take 2 of my favorite things…video games and Gerard Butler with no shirt on…then I am more than happy!

Day 408 Memorial Day Holiday…no work 🙂 Still spent the day working but from home in front of the TV…with Wolverine on 😀 Yep started the day with the Wolverine movie then went on to the 3 X-Men movies…Hugh Jackman Is Wolverine! Only got one word to say…Yummylicious!

Day 409 Off to work for a short workweek…realizing towards the end of the day that having a day off in a global company only means you have to work twice as hard the day after…since we only had the day off in the US…LMAO! In the evening headed over to Central Bar for drinks with Ian…he stopped by the NY office…then dinner at Spice. Back home for some TV before heading off to bed!

Day 410 Busy day at work again…after work headed out to B-Bar with some co-workers…Malibu Bay Breeze…Yummy! Ended up staying for dinner…delicious burgers! Home for som FFXIII before heading to bed 🙂

Day 411 Off to work in the morning, preparing for a large Team meeting for one of the Design groups, had a whole bunch of people coming in from the NoVA office…Great Fun! Went to check out a couple of galleries then off to Biergarten at the Standard Hotel for some beers and pretzels…got the NoVA people over to their hotel then off to Mercat for some Catalan Tapas…Patatas Bravas…Croquetes de Gamba…Bombas…Yummylicious!! Awesome food with great company! Home full and satisfied…slept like a baby!

Day 412 Only 2 weeks left until I am in Sweden…really looking forward to our midsummer celebration at Hamra Krog, have my sister, two of my best friends…who remembers more about what I have done in my life than I do LMAO!…and their families 😀 We will be staying in the apartments on top of the Krukmakeri, we were there back in August of 2009 for the weeding party for Ancha and Bosse…see day 131 for my Gotland adventures that trip! I fell in love with the place it’s like a little piece of mediterranean on Gotland! It’s also been a long time since I celebrated midsummer so I am actually kind of excited about this trip 😀 Had a late session 90 with Lauren…when I get there she is busy trying to get a new phone…she had left hers in a cab LOL so end result is 30 min Cardio and then a 60 min session with a peeved off trainer = me getting ready to pass out ROTFL! Walked home to once again find my myscles quivering in a pile in a corner on the couch! She pretty much targeted each muscle group today…and this is something I pay for LMAO!

So I have now managed to get up to speed until June 4th…another month to go LOL what me lazy! I have no clue what you are talking about. I will be back with more updates shortly…you will hear about my ambulance ride to the hospital (not so awesome and should not be read by the sensitive types since it involves blood and throwup LOL) and then I will update you on our Midsummers celebration 2010!
