Day 800-816 in Sweden and NYC

Day 800 GLAD MIDSOMMAR!!! Ok, so it was over 8 months ago and I have Not been updating the blog at all! LOL Ahh well I am now going to try to get caught up…hmmm yeahh let’s try to remember what happened 8 months ago 😀 Started out the day with sunshine and just a little bit of clouds!

Spent most of the day by the pool

Can it get better than this!! Well actually it can…it could have been a little warmer 😀

That evening we all had dinner…outside by the pool…as you can see we are all wearing jackets LOL

Good food! Good Company! Awesome Midsummers 😀

Day 801 Slow wakeup still lovely weather. Headed over to the “Konditori” Bakery to get some desserts 🙂 Then off to ICA to buy some food. Spent the afternoon at Hamra Krog on the terrace in the Sun 😀 Went back later in the evening for Dinner, Irish Eyes were there!! Ancha, Bosse, and I, headed over to the house where he was staying with a friend, lots of singing and playing, and some beer drinking LOL Lovely night 😀

Day 802 Last day at Hamra, Sun was high in the sky alltogether lovely day! Went for a drink at Hamra Krog in the evening 🙂 Then back to the apartment to start packing up. Ancha and Bosse are leaving tomorrow morning.

Day 803 Went bye bye to Ancha and Bosse they were taking the Ferry back to the mainland. I had a lazy morning at Hamra, sat in the sun and just enjoyed life 😀 Tidied up a bit then grabbed my bags and headed out to go to Visby. Checked in at Medeltids Hotellet, really quaint place! Went for dinner at Black Sheep (Irish Pub) so this was my status update: “On Gotland in Irish pub drinking Brooklyn Lager” Yeah I Love NYC 😀 Back to the Hotell had an early wakeup to catch the boat.

Day 804 Ferry ride went fine, went to meet Mom in Huddinge strolled around shopping a bit then we had lunch in the sun…lovely weather! Went back to the house dropped off the bags then off to see Tilda and Ralle’s apartment…soo cute. Had dinner in Hammarby with Monica, Mr P, and Tilda, then Pernilla and her boyfriend Ted showed up. Swedish Pizza…yummylicious! Headed back to mom for a good night sleep 🙂

Day 805 Another lovely sunny day in Sweden, headed over to Ancha in the afternoon, went for dinner at Peppar

Bosse managed to capture all of us in the window as he was leaving to catch the ferry back to Gotland 😀 Headed back to Mom bought the tickets to go to Nice..leaving on Monday for a short trip, coming back to moms on Wednesday 🙂

Day 806 So I’ve been lucky with the weather…I did forget to pack a bathing suit but my little sis lent me one 🙂 So as I was prepping my bag to go to Monica’s I made sure to include the bathing suit 🙂 Nice ride down to Nyköping. Spent the evening with Monica and Mr P 🙂

Day 807 Sun was shining so Monica and I headed down to the beach 😀 I really am a Sun and Water child 😀 Headed back to moms in the afternoon. Sanna and Lina came to moms and we headed into Stockholm to go for Dinner at Mamas and Tapas…the food ws great but the service…not so much LOL The drink I ordered came when we had finished eating and was ready to pay LOL Went for a walk with the Sisters after Dinner.

Day 808 Up in the am, preparing to be moving help to Ancha…there were boxes waiting to be unpacked! We had help from Anders G and Toril. Very productive day 😀 Back to my moms to…clean my room LMAO yeah I turn into a teenager when I am at my moms, since they had been gone for a couple of days I needed to make sure everything was clean before they came back. Tomorrow we are going to Gålö to se the new house wagon 🙂 And of course sine I was alone at my moms I broke something…at least this time it was something of mine LOL My Kindle broke!!! Time to go buy paperbacks…yeah you know me I can’t live without something to read 🙂

Day 809 I am really not a morning person LOL but off we all went to the sea and beach…now if only the Sun would come out LOL Met up with Mom and Gunnar went to the beach and then had some lunch, after that it was time to head back to Tullinge. Back at moms packed my bags for the trip to Nice tomorrow then I sat down to watch The Big 4 on TV…awesome Concert even though I think I was a lot more comfortable than the people that were actually there 😀

Day 810 Awfully early wakeup!!! But it was worth it once I landed in Nice 😀 Cab to Hotell checked in, the weather wasn’t awesome but Who Cares I was in Nice 😀

Spent the day walking around my old neighborhood! Chatted with Emily she wasnt able to meet up sniff sniff…next time! Met up with Fat Cat for Dinner at Felix Faure…ohh and it was July 4th Independence Day! and of course important B-Day for old Friend, yeah he turned 50 😀 Back to Hotell.

Day 811 Started the day with Breakfast in Bed

Then I headed up to the rooftop Pool and spent most of the day there 😀

In the evening met up with “The French ABBA” LOL, Michelle & Mouloud for “l’apero” at the Hotel bar

After that walk over to Poco Loco for Dinner, my old Boss Tarak was there awesome to see him again 😀 Back to the Hotel for a good nights sleep!

Day 812 Breakfast in bed again…I like this whole Hotell living 🙂 Watched Green Hornet…yeahh hmmm not so awesome 😀 Plane back to Stockholm…uneventful…back to moms dropped off the bag then off to Stockholm for Dinner with Ancha. Headed into Gamla Stan…after dinner at The Liffey we headed over to O’Connels for a drink with the Birthday Boy and some other friends 🙂 I know 2 days late but better late than never 😀 Then back home to moms after a Long but Wonderful Day 😀

Day 813 Ohh yeah woke up with sore throat, runny nose, and coughing…hmm airplane bugs! Spent the day Home Alone 😀

Day 814 Still home sick at my moms…awesome end of vacation 🙁 Rested comfortably at my moms…that sounds so bad! Fixed some salmon for dinner 🙂

Day 815 Last day in Sweden…little sister came by with Cloe so we went for a walk in the park

Cloe full speed ahead 😀 Had marinated herring and leftover pancakes for Dinner with True Grit playing on the PS3 🙂 Packed all my bags in preparation for trip home tomorrow 😉

Day 816 The Cold is still in full effect! Awesome for flying…NOT! Got cecked for Bombs at the airport…cause I look like a terrorist 😀 Back home…my Bed!!! I really do love my own bed 🙂

Taking a break from updates, will continue with the next 7 months shortly…yeah I know procrastinate is my middle name 😀
