Day 853-885 in NYC, VA, and MD

Let’s continue this mass effort 🙂

Day 853 So I am not a morning person but if I am going to wake up anywhere NYC is not a bad place to be 😀 Work was really hectic! I did do one of those career limiting moves again, my CTO passes me with some of the engineers and asks if I would like to go to dinner with them…and what comes out of my mouth…No I am sorry I can’t I am going to the Gym…Duhhhh!!! Just stamp idiot on my forehead LOL Ended up not being done at work until after 10 pm, so there was no Gym 😀

Day 854 Off to work in the am having really hectic days right now…to late to go to the gym when I was done so I headed home.

Day 855 Busy day at work, almost forgot to send out Happy Hour invite for tomorrow, but today I did make time to get to Definitions since I had a session with Alan…home for icing after 🙂

Day 856 Off to work in the am…sore muscles LOL…in the evening headed over to Black & White for Happy Hour…awesome drinks for not a lot of money 😀 my kinda place 😀

Day 857 Slow start to the day…noo I am sure the drinks from yesterday had nothing to do that 😀 Headed off to work. As I was leaving in the evening for a session with Alan at Definitions I see all these people cowering in the lobby…apparently they are scared of the Thunder and Lightning outside…but I was so eager for the sweat and pain that I skipped down the street to get to the gym…hmm ok maybe I exaggerated a little bit 😀 Headed home after the session for Icing and rest!

Day 858 Spent the day playing MassEffect 2…no I am really not addicted to gaming…much!

Day 859 Laundry in the morning then off to Definitions for a session with Alan…I have to say I am feeling the difference in what I can do and not do compared to when I started…it might not show but I am getting stronger 🙂 Home for icing and relaxation then off to bed 🙂

Day 860 Off to work in the am…so I usually get breakfast at the little deli in the lobby, I ask for my bagel to be double toasted and less cream cheese…well today it was barely toasted and it was drowning in cream cheese 🙁 Soo disgusting! A bagel that is not toasted gets really heavy in the consistency…not awesome 🙂 Spent the evening at work packing…they were moving us to new offices so we had to be packed by Friday, since we will be traveling it has to be done today…really hate packing LOL Came home in the evening packed for the trip. Had a hard time falling asleep without the post-workout endorphins LOL

Day 861 Off to work in the am then train ride to DC with Boss and CTO. Staying at the Lansdowne…awesome pillows and nice soft sheets…ohh yeah I can sleeo here LOL

Day 862 Dulles office all day. Went for dinner with Boss and Joyce C at Paralell Wine bar…now if you like wine this is the restaurant for you! There is a cabinet filled with wine bottles then you go with your glass pick the wine you want and just push the button! Apparently really good wines too…now I don’t drink wine so I left that to the others 🙂 Drove down to Baltimore checked in at the Hilton..was ok not awesome but ok 🙂

Day 863 Up in the am for Breakfast with Boss, apparently there had been a fire alarm in the middle of the night on his floor…they were all standing outside in the middle of the night..not my floor at least not that I had noticed…so he hadn’t gotten much sleep…unlike me that apparently slept through the whole thing…did I mention that once I sleep I Sleep! LOL Took the Water Taxi to work, they had switched to the little boat.

Spent the day in the Baltimore office in the evening went for drinks at Thorntons with some of the guys then went for dinner at The Wine Market with Boss, Grant, and Charles…really good food 🙂

Day 864 Breakfast with Boss in the am…no fire alarms last night 😀 Water Taxi to work…did I mention that this is a Very civilized way to start the day!

Good day at work train back to NYC in the evening. Home dropped my bags then off to Definitions for a session with Alan…yeah I keep going cause he knows how to make working out fun…well fun may be exaggerating…but it’s interesting 😀 Back home for icing and rest!

Day 865 So yesterday they were talking about Hurricane Irene…a Lot! They started evacuating several areas of Manhattan, I got to stay 🙂 There were stories about it in Sweden too…I got messages from friends and family…but I was able to let them know I didn’t need to evacuate 🙂 I must admit I did head to the store to get some water…I walked in, saw the lines, and promptly walked out again LOL got some water and diet coke from the little Deli at the corner 😀 Sat at the house and contemplated the coming storm…I was wondering will the Rats flee New York?? As I was sitting there playing some Mass Effect I suddenly hear Drip Drip Drip…ohh lovely my windows are leaking…it was raining so hard that the rain went sideways LOL and apparently there was a weakness in the wall between the bricks…so I had to find appropriate containers to contain the water. The only problem was I had to have the containers on the window sill so they had to be smaller, so I spent the night emptying the smaller containers in to a bucket! That was less fun 🙂

Day 866 Finally managed to get a little sleep, luckily I had put towels down to stop the worst of the leaks since the smaller containers ran over while I was sleeping…ahh well at least the floor staid dry 🙂 So apart from the laking windows nothing really happened Irene wasn’t as tough as they said she would be 😀 Spent the day playing Mass Effect, gym was canceled so no session 😀

Day 867 Worked from home…the weather was absolutely gorgeous…didn’t need to have the AC on sat and worked with open windows 😀 In the evening headed over to Definitions for a session with Alan…back home for icing and rest!

Day 868 Off to work in the am, had lunch with Boss and his daughter Kelsey at Cozi’s…awesome burgers 😀 After work headed over to Definitions for Cardio then home and iced my knees!

Day 869 Off to work in the am…lots of construction noise today…they are reconfiguring the floor and removing pods for a more open environment…all good and well but how am I supposed to work in this awful noise! Went home relaxed for a minute then off to Definitions for a session with Mr I Bring the Pain Alan LOL Back home for icing and rest!

Day 870 Working from home due to the construction noise…realized that there is no draft in my apartment so I was contemplating putting the AC on again…compromised by turning the fan on for a breeze 🙂 Headed over to Definitions for Cardio in the evening then home for some icing!

Day 871 I really like it when I can work from home since I don’t have to get up as early 🙂 I can get up at 9 and just head straight to the computer and get started 😀 In the evening headed to Definitions for a session with Alan…back home for icing and relaxation!

Day 872 Spent the morning researching Veggie and Protein shakes…I know Veggies LMAO!!! In the afternoon headed to Definitions for some Cardio, home icing, then Mass Effect!

Day 873 Spent the day playing and watching TV on the laptop. Finished up Mass Effect and Torchwood Season 2 at the same time…on to Mass Effect 2 and Torchwood Season 3! In the afternoon headed to Definitions for a session with Alan…back home for icing and rest 🙂

Day 874 I really love it when Monday is a holiday…3-day weekends I do not frown upon 😀 Spent the day playing Mass Effect 2 and looking at Torchwood, I did have a lot of stuff I Needed to do but…that didn’t happen LOL

Day 875 Off to work in the am busy but good day headed to Definitions for a session with Alan after work…awesome as usual 🙂

Day 876 Work was busy! One of the VP’s I support got a larger role WoooHooo 🙂 was contemplating going home after work but I dragged my butt off to Definitions for a Cardio session! Came home sat and played some Mass Effect 2 when lo and behold what is crawling on my leg…A Friggin cockroach!!! Ewwwwww small one yes but I still freaked out jumping around like a crazy person slapping my leg…LMAO!! Happy the exterminator are coming tomorrow morning 🙂

Day 877 Was waiting for the Exterminator to come spray for bugs so came to work a little late 🙂 Good day at work…busy but I like it…Went to Definitions for Cardio…yes I go because there is Eye Candy LOL Home for some Icing…nooo spent the evening with buckets again since it was raining and leaking again…I do have to tell the super about this!

Day 878 Off to work in the am, had the super come look at my leaky windows in the morning he said they will fix it. In the evening headed to Definitions for a session with Alan…I always leave filled with lovely endorphins…yeahh I need those endorphins in order to make it home with my sore muscles LMAO!!! Icing then some Mass Effect 2 before passing out in bed…yes passing out I was happy I managed to pick up the controller to play my game LOL

Day 879 Spent the day playing Mass Effect 2 and looking at Dr Who…not the old ones the new version…got them on Amazon…loved the first Actor the one after I got used to but the last one…yeah not so much LOL Life can be good sometimes 😀

Day 880 Laundry day…yeah I had skimped on it…clothes are cheap at KMart LMAO…so there was a lot of it! I had taken a picture last month what it looked like in the laundry room:

Yeah this is Manhattan, NYC, but all you can see is IKEA!!! Sweden rules the laundry rooms in the US!! LMAO If you look at the table and you see the neatly folded IKEA bag…yeah that would be mine LOL Back home was checking out FB and one of my Wolverine Hater friends posted this on my wall

All I can say is NOT FUNNY!!! Wolverine can pull in his claws…he can soo save babies…ROTFL! With righteous wrath in my heart I headed over to Definitions for a session with Alan…he quickle reduced me to a quivering mass of jelly and then sent me home for Icing and relaxation 😀

Day 881 Off to work in the am, Boss had a day tripp to Dulles for meetings but I stayed in NYC 🙂 Headed over to Definitions for some eye candy…I mean for some Cardio 😀 Back home icing while playing a little Mass Effect 2 🙂

Day 882 Off to work in the am in the evening headed to Definitions for a session with Alan…awesomeness as usual 🙂 Back home icing then jump in bed!

Day 883 Got up in the morning and there was a whole bunch of trailers and my street was getting ready to be blocked off…they were going to film later tonight…cool, maybe I would see someone famous 😀 Off to work then headed to Definitions for Cardio…overdid it a bit so came home tired and sore…all these people outside on my street…yeah by this time I thought it was more annoying than cool LOL maybe I am becoming a Real New Yorker LOL

Day 884 Off to work in the am then headed over to Definitions for some Cardio in the evening. Home icing and rest.

Day 885 Off to work in the am then headed over to Definitions for a session with Alan in the evening…do you guys sense a pattern here LMAO! Home Icing and rest and some Mass Effect 2 🙂

Taking another break here…I am getting closer only 5 months left…only…hmmm 😀
